    Description
    Vaco are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Director to lead a great payroll team. The Payroll Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and distribution of paychecks or electronic transfers.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and contractors.
    • Oversee payroll tax compliance and filings, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify payroll discrepancies or errors.
    • Stay updated on relevant tax and labor laws to ensure compliance in all payroll activities.
    • Prepare payroll reports and analyses for management review.
    • Lead, train, and mentor payroll team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

    Requirements:

    • years of experience in payroll management or a related role.
    • Thorough understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax codes.
    • Proficient in using payroll software and related tools (e.g., ADP, Workday, etc.).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
