Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Finance Business partner, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Provide proactive and pre-emptive operational management of R&R accounting advisory and support services
Partnering with clients to maximise use of research funds
Undertake budgeting/forecasting and management reporting responsibilities for research grants/contracts
Proactively understand client needs
Build and sustain relationships with an extensive network of colleges, clients and stakeholders
Contribute to the planning, management and effective implementation of continuous improvement
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
CA / CPA qualified
Experience in providing advice and preparing and monitoring complex budgets
Ability to communicate with impact
Commercially minded with strong financial acumen
Excellent research, analytic, conceptual and problem solving skills
Capabilities to meet tight deadlines and have a high attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to work part of a team
