"Dining Services Assistant Addolorata Villa is hiring a Dining Services Assistant/Server that provides assistance in all dietary functions in a health care environment. This position serves prepared food to our residents in the dining service areas and cleans-up after each meal. Full or Part Time Addolorata Villa is a vibrant senior living community located in Wheeling, Illinois. Addolorata Villa is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living, sheltered care, and skilled nursing/long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve and handle food in accordance with sanitation regulations Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and prep kitchen Reset the dining room Handle trays, equipment, tableware, and linens, in a proper and safe manner Treat residents with dignity and respect Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred not required Previous food experience a plus Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Must enjoy working with the senior population
