- Walks accounts to look for sales opportunities
- Takes sales orders via handheld and merchandising instructions on the work order
- Pursues non-buying accounts to achieve maximum targeted distribution
- Checks point of sales (POS) advertising to ensure it is current, operational, and in good condition
- Checks stock rotation, and stocks shelves as necessary
- Conducts full rotation of accounts on a 4-week cycle following supplier code date policies
- Cover Sales Routes for team members out on vacation, sick, or having a day off
- Complies with federal and state safety regulations and Company safety policies and procedures
- Performs additional duties as assigned, delegated, or required.
- B.A from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a personal vehicle to access multi-store locations within the assigned route. Eligible for monthly mileage reimbursement
- Must show proof of insurance within company guidelines
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to lift, load, push, and pull 40 to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, and background check
- Must possess a valid CA Driver's license and a driving record that meets established guidelines
- Current Employee Hourly Pay Rate Schedule: $23.25
- Sales Incentives throughout the year; median annual income after incentives $70,000 before tax
- Consistent overtime, approximately 55-hour weeks
