Our Sales Reps work to ensure the attainment of designated sales objectives and effective distribution of assigned products by carrying out the duties and responsibilities of selling, servicing, and merchandising PBC products to accounts on the assigned route.


Primary responsibilities:


  • Walks accounts to look for sales opportunities
  • Takes sales orders via handheld and merchandising instructions on the work order
  • Pursues nonbuying accounts to achieve maximum targeted distribution
  • Checks point of sales (POS) advertising to ensure it is current, operational, and in good condition
  • Checks stock rotation, and stocks shelves as necessary
  • Conducts full rotation of accounts on a 4week cycle following supplier code date policies
  • Cover Sales Routes for team members out on vacation, sick, or having a day off
  • Complies with federal and state safety regulations and Company safety policies and procedures
  • Performs additional duties as assigned, delegated, or required.

Basic Qualifications:


  • B.A from fouryear college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

_Must have a personal vehicle to access multi-store locations within the assigned route.


Eligible for monthly mileage reimbursement_:


  • Must show proof of insurance within company guidelines
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to lift, load, push, and pull 40 to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Successfully pass a preemployment drug screen, physical exam, and background check
  • Must possess a valid CA Driver's license and a driving record that meets established guidelines

Compensation & Benefits

  • Current Employee Hourly Pay Rate Schedule: $23.2
  • Sales Incentives throughout the year; median annual income after incentives $70,000 before tax
  • Consistent overtime, approximately 55hour weeks
