Overview:

Hero Practice Services is seeking an RCM Specialist for our Revenue Cycle Team for our Vision Line of Business to support our mission to be the leading provider of high-quality dental, vision, and orthodontic services in underserved communities.

Hero Practice Services is the only practice management company focused on delivering the systems, processes, and people needed to efficiently deliver quality dental, vision, and orthodontic care to children in underserved communities.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate knowledge of claim cycle, especially Accounts Receivable and Denials.
Determine cause of denials and perform effective claim resolution activities based on payer policies, practices and regulations.
Identify trends adversely affecting collections and communicate them to leadership.
Work independently to accomplish goals timely with limited direct oversight.
Ensure all work activities and products are completed with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
Manage work queues to ensure all claims are resolved timely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.
6 months of experience with EMR/EHR through Practice Operations or Revenue Cycle Management

Desired:

Experience with Vision Revenue Cycle
Experience with Medical Revenue Cycle
Experience with Payer Policies and/or Requirements
Experience with Remote Work
Experience with Medicaid
