    Description

    The Land Development Engineer/Project Manager will be in charge of overseeing land development projects from start to finish in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in civil engineering, strong project management abilities, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with both internal and external partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management

    • Lead and supervise land development projects to ensure they stay within budget, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards.
    • Keep a close eye on project advancement in terms of finances and schedules, identifying and addressing any deviations from the original scope.
    • Foster a collaborative team environment, inspiring and guiding team members in a fast-paced setting.
    • Assign tasks efficiently to allow for better focus on managerial duties.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Apply professional civil engineering knowledge to steer project design and execution.
    • Develop civil engineering design processes, blueprints, and secure necessary approvals from relevant agencies.
    • Ensure precision and adherence to procedures and timelines throughout the project lifecycle.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Effectively communicate with internal and external partners, whether in person or through remote means like video calls or phone conversations.
    • Build strong working relationships with customers, construction firms, and regulatory bodies.
    • Resolve project-related challenges and disputes in a preemptive and tactful manner.

    Technical Proficiency:

    • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Pipe Networks.
    • Use technical tools and software to streamline project workflows and boost productivity.

    Candidate Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or relevant engineering discipline.
    • Possess a Professional Engineering License.
    • Have at least 10 years of experience in land development projects, with a track record of success as a project engineer.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Thorough understanding of civil engineering design processes and blueprint preparation.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to work precisely, follow protocols and timelines, and prioritize multiple assignments.
    • High emotional intelligence and adept problem-solving capabilities.
