About Bill Larson:

Long time unix engineer, been in the security space since 1997.  Worked for BeyondTrust (BTU - BeyondTrust University) as a content developer for the PMUL product line.  Currently working for Optiv on BeyondTrust products, Password Safe, PMUL, and Active Directory Bridge.

Experience

Started my career in the Semiconductor industry and ended up doing data collection systems for wafer fabs.  This introduced me to Unix in the early 1990's.  I joined my first Israeli startup in 1997 Memco that did a RACF tool for Unix.  Been in the security space ever since will several companies, mostly PatchLink/Lumension/HEAT were I spent 14 years as a SE, Business Development manager, dev-ops engineer.  then I joined BeyondTrust for PMUL which is a Unix tool much like the Memco product but in user space so no installing a kernel module.
