    Job Overview:

    FairWind Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Resource Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Resource Manager, you will play a crucial role in the renewable energy sector, specializing in wind turbines. This role demands strong leadership capabilities and a passion for driving the growth and success of renewable energy initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Resource Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive resource deployment plans and schedules, considering project requirements, technician availability, and customer expectations.
    2. Customer Communication and MSAs: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding and adhering to the terms and conditions outlined in customer MSAs.
    3. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout all resource deployment activities.
    4. Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to optimize resource allocation, reduce expenses, and improve overall project profitability.
    5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including spreadsheets and databases, to track resource deployment, training profiles, project assignments, and associated costs.
    6. Technician Training and Development: Coordinate and monitor the completion of technician training profiles, ensuring that all required certifications and skills are up to date before deployment.
    7. Performance Evaluation and Salary Adjustments: Review resource performance regularly, providing feedback and recommendations for salary adjustments based on individual and team performance.
    8. Talent Acquisition: Take an active role in the recruitment and selection process, including interviewing and assessing potential candidates for the resource team.
    9. Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership to the resource team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    10. Assignment Acquisition: Actively seek new assignments and projects for the technicians, collaborating with project managers and business development teams to identify potential opportunities for resource deployment.
    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in wind energy operations, maintenance, or asset management.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performance team culture.
    • Solid understanding of wind turbine technology, operation, and maintenance practices.
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of relevant HSE standards and regulations in the wind energy industry.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally to wind farm sites.
    This is a fully remote position.
