    Parts Department Specialist - Landmark Equipment (Portland, OR)

    Landmark Equipment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Department Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our parts department runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our service department and keeping our customers' equipment up and running.

    Responsibilities:

    • Looking up and ordering forklift, aerial & heavy equipment parts.
    • Package and ship parts orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Unpack incoming orders and stock parts in the appropriate locations.
    • Occasionally load and unload parts using a forklift.
    • Maintain a clean and organized parts department.
    • Verify receipt of parts upon arrival and deliver them to the designated mechanics.
    • Look up part numbers in our system and place orders with vendors.
    • Conduct phone follow-ups with customers regarding replacement parts and identify any additional needs.
    • Answer incoming parts calls and provide exceptional customer service with a professional phone demeanor.

    Qualifications:

    • Forklift, aerial & heavy equipment parts terminology.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Must be a clean, polite, and professional individual with a visual appearance that reflects our company culture.
    • Must be physically able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
    • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (a plus).
    • Ability to learn and utilize our company software (Quickbooks, Word, Excel, etc)
    • Be familiar with terminology for different aerial lift types, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers. Also, familiarity with forklift components like masts, carriages, forks, and outriggers is a plus.

    Benefits:

    • Competitive hourly wage range of $20-$25 per hour.
