    JC Senior Personnel Specialist
    SENIOR PERSONNEL SPECIALIST

    $5, $6,689.00 per Month

    Final Filing Date: 5/13/2024

    Job Description and Duties

    The Senior Personnel Specialist assumes total responsibility for performing a full range of highly technical, difficult, complex and sensitive payroll assignments. Utilizes a high degree of independence and judgment in resolving personnel problems and issues. Will serve as a lead, train lower-level staff, or serve as backup when needed. Provide resources and consultation for the most sensitive and complex personnel areas. Requires having a thorough and detailed knowledge of and apply State laws, Departmental and Control Agency rules and regulations, and bargaining unit contract provisions.

    In addition, this classification is eligible for an annual recruitment and retention bonus of $2400 after completion of 12 months in the classification, $3,000 after completion of 24 months in the classification, $3,600 after completion of 36 months in the classification, and $4,800 after completion of 48 months in the classification.

    This position is eligible to participate in DDS' hybrid telework schedule. Participation in telework is subject to DDS' guidelines.

    Working Conditions

    Occasional overnight statewide travel may be required.
