    Business Analyst - Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality

    Dallas, Texas (Onsite)

    6+ Months (with possibility of extension and conversion)

    Exciting Job Opportunity:

    This leading company in infrastructure and construction services in the DFW area has an immediate 6+ month contract available for a skilled Business Analyst in the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Department. This role is based in North Dallas with the occasional travel to North Richland Hills. It involves utilizing computer skills and expertise in learning management and telematics software systems. The Business Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders to implement and oversee Training, Document Control, and Telematics software platforms. Responsibilities include documenting processes, managing content, administering the systems, ensuring they are up to date, generating reports, developing dashboards, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. In addition, the Business Analyst will monitor day-to-day operations and ensure timely updates.

    Desired Skills & Expertise:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
    • 2 years of experience in Analytics/Dashboards, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and preferred experience in Power BI Publisher and Microsoft Power BI Report Development
    • 2+ years of experience in analytics or business analysis
    • Proven proficiency in managing cloud-based IT software
    • Experience with Training and Telematic software is a plus
    • Valid driver's license required
    • Ability to bridge technical language and business requirements effectively
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and other PC based programs
    • Experience in writing procedures, training materials, and work processes
    • Ability to multitask, problem solve, and innovate in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with Training Platforms or OSHA 29 CFR 1910 is advantageous

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Administering and managing the Training platform, ensuring training records are up to date, generating compliance reports, and optimizing module utilization
    • Supporting in implementing and managing Telematics platforms, inputting data, administering systems, generating reports, and maximizing platform utilization
    • Acting as backup for Document Control, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and organizing documents efficiently
    • Utilizing business knowledge and analytical skills to manage, generate reports, and identify opportunities
    • Creating and publishing reports using Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and other Microsoft applications
    • Maintaining communication during database development and maintenance phases
    • Developing and updating user documentation and training materials
    • Ensuring accuracy and currency of user databases
    • Providing user access assistance and training to company employees
    • Collaborating with stakeholders and visiting company facilities for information collection to ensure system implementation
