    What is the opportunity?

    We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Vice President to join our team in the Insurance and/or Asset & Wealth Management sector within our Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

    What will you do?

    • Execute transactions, business presentations, and client meetings
    • Collaborate with Associates and Analysts on pitch books and client materials
    • Cultivate client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and oversee transaction execution
    • Coordinate with various groups to explore and develop new business prospects
    • Enhance RBC's presence in the designated area and support other areas as needed
    • Pursue investment banking opportunities aligning with set budgets and plans
    • Proactively identify and address operational risks and control deficiencies
    • Ensure compliance with Firm Policies relevant to your activities
    • Report operational risks and deficiencies to the appropriate functions in a timely manner

    What do you need to succeed?

    • Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA, or MS with a focus on finance or accounting
    • Minimum 5 years of Investment Banking experience, including at least 3 years in FIG
    • Solid grasp of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling
    • Excellent analytical skills, knowledge of finance and accounting
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
    • High ethical standards, ability to represent RBC professionally
    • Hold FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses

    The expected salary range for this position is $275,000, dependent on various factors including experience, skills, and market conditions. This range excludes bonuses and benefits such as a 401(k) program, insurance, and paid time-off.
