- Ensure designs are Code-compliant, including familiarity with the latest NEC and NESC upgrades.
- Develop and oversee project electrical designs such as single line drawings, DC and AC wire diagrams, electrical site plans, and equipment layouts.
- Supervise project design for solar and battery storage projects, including civil, structural, electrical, and SCADA design.
- Assist in procurement processes to ensure specifications are met.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and estimates to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
- Lead engineering process improvement projects and address interdisciplinary challenges.
- Support project development, design, and funding requirements.
- Oversee equipment specification, vendor selection, and contracting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, with a focus on utility-scale solar PV systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering and integration.
- Hands-on experience with solar solutions like modules, inverters, and mounting systems.
- Proficiency in solar design software such as PVSyst, ETAP, SKM, and WinIGS.
- Skills in AutoCAD, MATLAB, Visual Basic, and Google Earth.
- Understanding of electricity and renewable energy markets.
- Construction and field experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint for reporting and presentations.
