Job DescriptionSummary
The Team Relations Specialist acts as a liaison for all Team Members. This involves receiving and effectively handling Team Member concerns and escalating the concerns to the level of appropriate action. This position will provide recommendations for addressing issues and concerns, as well as helping to resolve conflict in the workplace, which may require conducting investigations.
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
· Maintains a professional behavior and demeanor at all times creating a positive working environment and leading by example.
· Assists in resolving Team Members' concerns and gauges Team Member morale on a daily basis.
· Ensures that management is aware of any issues and concerns in the work environment by communicating daily with the Team Relations Manager.
· Ensures uniform application of MOBIS policies through internal audits and investigations, reporting issues to department supervisors, and escalation of issues to the appropriate management team.
· Advocates for the treatment of all Team Members in a way that is fair and consistent with MOBIS policy.
· Provides guidance and support to the department Management Team when addressing a Team Member's work performance or behavior which may require corrective action investigations.
· Serves as a liaison to acquire needed information for Team Members or to arrange meetings with the appropriate personnel.
· Assists in training Team Members and Management on company policies and procedures.
· Creates and presents various presentations and reports as requested.
· Coordinates and attends the President's Roundtable Meeting and provides documented reports detailing the concerns and trends.
· Assists with administrative, communication, and safety issues.
· Adheres to and interprets MOBIS policy, which may include conducting training.
· Complies with and promotes safety in the workplace, to include attendance at safety meetings as well as conducting safety meetings when necessary.
· All other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Preferred Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 or more years of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service/Relations, or a related field
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
· Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations
· Ability to conduct legally defensible investigations leading to a resolution of employee complaints
· Ability to interpret company policies and procedures and to ensure fair and consistent administration
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education & Experience:
· Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
· Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR)
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None required
Working Conditions
· Spends 20% of time in the office and 80% on the production floor
· Works an 8-hour shift

With a commitment to quality, we pride ourselves on providing state-of-the-art Modules, Assemblies, and genuine Hyundai and KIA after-service parts. We hold both the ISO14001 and IATF16949 Certifications for Environmental Management and Quality Management.
Our process begins in the sprawling 600,000 square-foot Plastics plant where we use injection molding to produce front and rear bumpers, instrument panel frames, and after-service parts. Our bumpers are molded and painted in-house. Bumpers for HMMA are also assembled in-house before transfer to HMMA for final assembly, while bumpers for KMMG are sent to our sister plant in Georgia for assembly. After molding, instrument panel frames move to the Module plant next door where we prepare them to receive additional parts to form a complete Cockpit (dashboard) assembly. Also in the Module building are our front and rear Chassis (vehicle suspension) assembly lines. Here, parts from Tier 2 and 3 suppliers are assembled into completed Chassis modules which are transported to nearby HMMA for final vehicle assembly.
