Well established, west suburban manufacturer is seeking an EH&S Coordinator/Manager to establish and maintain environmental health and safety programs


Responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing EH&S culture throughout the company implementing safety risk assessment methods, audit processes, and safety program design

Leading EH&S investigations

Coordinating continuous improvement in company EH&S programs

Performing job hazard analysis

Implementing Lockout Tagout program

Determining and implementing the relevant compliance and safety standards to operate plant machinery

Ensuring compliance for all standards (machinery, UL, EPA, OSHA, NFPA, etc.)

Completing safety and environmental audits and report to plant management

Training plant personnel on safety procedures

Ensuring ergonomic operation of equipment

Conducting and reporting risk evaluations


QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in Environmental, Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering or related field

2-10 yrs.+ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of state and national OSHA & EPA regulations

Strong written & oral communication skills

U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder


Pay:
$80, $110,000.00 per year
