    Description

    Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with a prestigious national law firm to find a highly qualified Pricing Specialist. Based in various locations, the Pricing Specialist will play a crucial role in billing rates and special fee arrangement administration, as well as providing financial analytics on legal matters. The ideal candidate will strive for excellence in customer service, becoming a subject-matter expert in pricing-related matters. This is a hybrid role, but the candidate must be based in Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County, Washington D.C., New York, Denver, Houston, or Dallas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Model matter profitability and provide scenario analysis to support pricing decisions for firm management.
    • Research and identify existing/historical firm matters for baseline budgeting of new matters.
    • Design templates to assist attorneys in establishing budgets and monitor engagements regularly, providing reports to management.
    • Oversee maintenance of the firm's rates and special fee arrangements database.
    • Create analysis, design reports, or presentations to display pricing trends.
    • Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate pricing analytics and data capture.
    • Analyze client performance data to identify pricing opportunities.
    • Perform ad hoc analyses using the firm's various data stores and tools.
    • Complete special projects on various issues as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • General understanding of fundamental pricing elements.
    • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to integrate details into a strategic context.
    • Flexibility to respond quickly to shifting demands and opportunities.
    • Strong customer focus, responsiveness, and commitment to efficiency and excellence.
    • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, macros, pivots, data manipulation).
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of firm's internal affairs and client information.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
    Experience:
    • University degree in business, economics, law, finance, accounting, or mathematics.
    • Minimum 2 years of business experience required.
    • Pricing or law firm experience is a plus.
