    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Liaise with Billing Partners and Revenue Team/Pricing Team including Revenue Manager and CFO to obtain information regarding client negotiated billing arrangements.

    · Respond to client inquiries/questions in a timely manner and escalate issues to Manager, Director or other Firm management as needed.

    · Maintain current and historical client billing arrangement information to provide to partners and billing professionals. Perform other projects at the request of Revenue Manager, CFO.

    · Create and maintain rate cards in revenue folder based on client negotiations.

    · Ensure new clients and matters are properly entered into the 3E billing system.

    · Ensure alternative fee arrangements (AFAs) are set up where applicable.

    · Prepare, maintain, and audit rate sets in accounting system (3E) including updating summary of annual rates applied to client.

    · Incorporate estimates, budgets, and caps into matter details in billing system.

    · Compile and review rate templates for rate increase proposals.

    · Perform rate reviews and audits upon request to ensure consistent application of agreements.

    · Revalue timecards for rate changes as necessary.

    · Work with E-billing (Frontline) to prepare rate sheets for client submission based on agreed rates.

    · Ensure firm compliance with client negotiated billing arrangements and client outside counsel policy by adding rate submission deadlines, add discounts and work with reporting team to set up alerts needed.

    · Check and distribute periodic billing rate reports and ad-hoc reports.

    · Respond to rate inquiries from senior leadership or generic emails addressed to the general Accounting email box.

    · Document and update billing protocols as needed.

    · Other responsibilities within the billing/collection function may be assigned from time-to-time.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; preferably in Accounting or Business Administration.


    • 5+ years' experience in a law firm revenue/finance department or comparable industry.


    • Software: Elite (Enterprise or 3E) or Aderant a plus (Elite/3E preferred); eBillingHub; Intapp Open.


    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.


    • Strong written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.


    • Ability to function as a self-starter, work independently and with a large team, and meet strict deadlines; detail & results oriented.


    • Flexibility with overtime when necessary.


    • Experience with SSRS preferred.


    • Possess excellent organization skills.


    • Accurate and timely with completion of all tasks


    • Thorough and follows through on assigned projects and tasks.


    • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


    • Operates well in a fast-paced and multi-constituent framework.


    • Produces polished professional reports for direct distribution to constituents.


    • Interacts professionally and collegially with all levels with the Firm.


    • Demonstrates flexibility and initiative with respect to problem solving.
