Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively seek new business opportunities with existing and potential new customer baseManage customer relationships through key company initiatives and customer satisfaction Contact customers to follow up, promote products, and review missed sales opportunities Maintain customer data and communications accurately and efficientlyManage the complete sales cycle from opportunity through contract completionInteract with customer, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service related issuesMaintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and capabilities to promoteOther duties as assignedOther Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong database, spreadsheet, analytical and presentation skillsMust be fluent with Microsoft Office suite of productsAbility to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specificationsWorking knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations is preferredSelf-starterStrong communication skills Executive-level exposureEducation /

Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Some college credit, sales seminars, and technical training is desirable.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and lift up to 10 pounds.

Works in moderate noise levels.
Travel less than 10%.
