    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    • POSITION TITLE: Member Experience Specialist (MES)
    • REPORTS TO: Member Experience Lead
    • DIRECT REPORTS: N/A
    • FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly
    • COMPENSATION: Base rate is $11.40 per hour + Commission eligibility
    • SCHEDULE: Closing shifts for weeknights and weekends

    PURPOSE

    The Member Experience Specialist plays a vital role in providing a top-notch experience to our members and visitors during each visit. This entails greeting everyone warmly, promptly addressing equipment issues, and maintaining a clean environment, all in line with our operational standards.

    DELIVERABLES

    • Operational Responsibilities: Exhibit Dedication to Delivering a Stellar Guest and Member Experience while Adhering to VASA's Operational Standards.
    • Dedication to Delivering a Stellar Guest and Member Experience: Engage Guests and Members with sincerity and kindness, offering friendly greetings and assistance. Proactively address their needs by providing guidance, information, and support, striving to enhance their experience by relaying Member feedback to management and effectively collaborating with the team to implement improvements.
    • Adherence to VASA Operational Standards: Carry out daily tasks per protocol, such as Guest and Member check-ins, class registrations, cleanliness upkeep, restocking, and assigned maintenance duties under direction of leaders. Conduct club inspections as required, handle cash transactions following company policies, and uphold safety protocols.
    • Accurately record work hours.
