    Description


    The candidate will be accountable to lead improvement projects from the identification of an opportunity through the sustainment phase, resolving process related concerns that impact our manufacturing environment.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    Seeking a recent graduate or someone with less than 5 years proven experience
    Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify improvement potential, capture cost savings, and perform project management duties
    Connect with people at all levels of our organization
    Train Lean Principles during project execution and or 5S activities
    Develop ways to analyze data and provide summary analysis to internal customers
    Demonstrate commitment to excellence through continual learning
    What You Bring

    Ability to apply Industrial Engineering techniques and eye for business when partnering with multi-functional teams – Managers, Engineers, Professionals & Shop Floor employees
    Proficiency in research, improvement, and implementation of projects that positively impact our Safety & Quality culture, schedule performance, and lower cost
    Desire and technical capability to understand the design of our products, how features impact design for manufacturability, material selection, and product cost
    SAP experience is desired with a demonstrated ability to evaluate drawings and component features; this experience will be used when calculating the financial impact on Design for Manufacturability
    Proficiency in problem solving techniques (5-why, Fish Bone, A3, etc.)
    Knowledge of MS office, Visio to document process flow, & Excel tools such a pivot tables
    Entry level understanding of Business KPIs & Operations Management
    Soft Skills
