    Description

    Our client is a battery storage developer based out of Texas. They are looking at bringing on an Investment Manager / M&A Associate to help continue their exciting growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the execution of M&A transactions end-to-end, including deal sourcing, valuation modeling, due diligence, negotiation, and integration
    • Build detailed financial models to evaluate potential targets and support investment decisions
    • Conduct industry research and analyze market trends to identify attractive acquisition targets
    • Prepare pitch materials, management presentations, and other deal marketing collateral
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
    • Structure and negotiate terms for transactions including asset/equity purchases, joint ventures, and other partnerships
    • Manage due diligence workstreams across legal, financial, technical, and other functional areas
    • Support post-merger integration planning and execution

    Qualifications:

    • 3-4 years of investment banking experience at a reputable firm, with significant M&A exposure
    • Deep understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and financial modeling
    • Outstanding analytical capabilities and high attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple work streams
    • Team player with ability to build strong internal and external relationships
    • Interest in renewable energy/energy storage and the ability to gain domain expertise quickly
    • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
