    Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:

    Supervises the investment and treasury functions of the university including assigned staff. Responsible for the protection of the financial assets and integrity of the University. Assures that established internal and external policies and procedures relating to financial transactions are adhered to as governed by Federal, State and university policies and regulations. Reconciles and verifies accounts to ensure accuracy and resolves issues as they arise.

    Essential Duties Summary:
    • Supervises staff assigned to investment and treasury functions.
    • Processing and reconciliation of all investment and banking transactions.
    • Managing and auditing all Cash On Hand in various departments.
    • Liaison with banking and investment organizations.
    • Timely transference of all deposits and withdrawals for investment transactions
    • Reviews and makes recommendations regarding investment and treasury policies and procedures.
    • Reviews investments to ensure alignment with investment guidelines.
    • Creates and files reports as needed or required.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting.

    Work Experience:
    • Five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience.
    • Five (5) years of experience in accounting for banking and investments preferred.
    Working/Environmental Conditions:
    • Routine office environment.
    • Sitting or standing in one location much of the time.
    • Some stooping, lifting or carrying objects light weight may be required.
    • Use of video display terminal.
