Onboarding Specialist

Location:
University & Country Club

Shift:
M-F Hours: 8am-5pm

Pay:
$25/HR

*Will need to apply for a level 1 fingerprint card before starting
This position is 100% on-site and not a remote position

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive onboarding program for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive transition into their roles.

Coordinate with various departments (HR, IT, Management) to gather necessary onboarding materials and information.
Create and maintain onboarding checklists, schedules, and timelines.
Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, providing an overview of the organization's mission, culture, policies, and benefits.
Schedule and conduct new employee introductions to relevant teams and colleagues.
Assist with completion of new hire paperwork, including tax forms and benefits enrollment.
Set up new employee accounts for email, computer systems, and other necessary applications.
Organize team lunches or social events to foster connection and belonging among new hires.
Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and completion for each new employee.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in onboarding, human resources, or a similar role.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with HR information systems (e.g., HRIS) a plus. (#IND1)
