    Description
    We are seeking an experienced and qualified leader to join our client's team as an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with GAAP. This person will lead the accounting team and coordinate the month-end closing process, financial reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement accounting strategies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise the accounting team.
    Coordinate the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of all closing aspects.
    Prepare financial statements and coordinate bank compliance reporting.
    Supervise fixed asset system and construction in process accounting.
    Administer accounting policies in accordance with GAAP and identify improvement opportunities.
    Establish consistent and standardized accounting policies.
    Assist with annual audits and external reporting.
    Recruit, hire, train, and develop the accounting team.
    Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
    6-8 years of accounting and leadership experience.
    Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
    Experience with multi-ledger and multi-divisional accounting, including intercompany accounting.
    Proficiency in process improvement and transformational opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Proficiency in MS Office suite.
    Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and databases
