    Role Description

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to oversee all compliance, licensing, and human resources (HR) functions at our small cannabis company based in Denver and Lakewood, CO. The new Compliance Manager will be required to keep up-to-date with changes in regulations in order to ensure that our operations comply with all state and local laws and regulations, and maintain all necessary licenses. This includes conducting regular compliance audits, training employees on compliance procedures, and addressing any compliance issues that arise. This role also includes managing HR policies and processes, including employee onboarding and offboarding. The Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining a legal and compliant operation, as well as fostering a positive workplace culture.

    Qualifications

    • Expert knowledge of Colorado cannabis laws and regulations.
    • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, HR, or a related role.
    • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small business environment.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and proactive about solving problems
