    Description

    Wil jij PwC NL helpen om midden in de maatschappij te staan?
    Dat komt goed uit. Voor de verdere versterking van ons Compliance Office (CO) team in Amsterdam zoeken wij een (senior) manager Compliance Office voor 30 tot 40 uur per week.

    Via waarderend toezicht op het kwaliteitsbeleid, PwC helpen een 'purpose led en values driven' en lerende organisatie te laten zijn. Dat is de ambitie van ons CO team.

    Kwaliteit is de basis voor het bouwen aan vertrouwen in de maatschappij. De verwachtingen in de maatschappij over kwaliteit zijn complex en voortdurend in beweging. De maatschappelijke discussie rondom het accountantsberoep en (fiscale) advisering brengt uitdagende dilemma's met zich mee die vragen om scherpte én nuance.
    Het continue voldoen aan de uiteenlopende verwachtingen van stakeholders is dan ook geen eenvoudige opgave. Het CO helpt PwC deze verwachtingen te signaleren, te interpreteren en er in de praktijk aan te voldoen.

    Dit ga je doen
    Wij vormen als het CO het schakelpunt tussen binnen en buiten. Het CO ziet namens het bestuur van PwC toe op het stelsel van kwaliteitsbeheersing rondom de naleving van wet- en regelgeving. Ook is het CO een proactieve sparringpartner van het bestuur en de rvc op deze gebieden. Tevens faciliteert het CO de PwC contacten met toezichthouders.

    De Wet toezicht accountantsorganisaties (Wta) en daaraan gerelateerde wet- en regelgeving alsmede andere regelgeving (zoals de Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme (Wwft)), vormen tezamen met de purpose en waarden van PwC, de verwachtingen van onze stakeholders alsmede de interne standaarden, het kader voor on

    toezichtactiviteiten.

    Het werk van het CO bestaat eruit om de verwachtingen van buiten te vertalen en toe te passen op het functioneren binnen de organisatie. Het werk vraagt dus om een open blik, een gevoelige maatschappelijke antenne en het vermogen om zaken zelfstandig en proactief bespreekbaar te maken.

    Drie keer per jaar rapporteert het CO observaties aan de LoS Boards, de rvb,

    de

    commissie publiek belang en de gehele rvc. Het CO doet verslag van bevindingen in het kwaliteitsbeheersingssysteem, komt met aanbevelingen en monitort de opvolging hiervan. Over specifieke (thema) onderzoeken wordt afzonderlijk gerapporteerd.
