- Coordinating the collection of rent from commercial tenants through various channels including online payments, checks and direct deposits.
- Posting payments to tenant accounts in property management software (AMSI).
- Reviewing and approving accounts payable for the assigned portfolio.
- Administering loan payments in accordance with loan agreements and payment schedules.
- Processing client distributions while complying with internal policies.
- Preparing and maintaining monthly accounting records and financial reports for the assigned property portfolio.
- Lease administration ensuring accurate and timely billing of rent/NNN and compliance with lease terms.
- Conduct regular audits/reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and lease documents.
- Budgeting and forecasting with the property management team to develop and maintain accurate property budgets.
- Collaborating with property management team to analyze financial performance.
- Providing analysis and insights to support decision-making efforts.
- Written and verbal communication with clients, tenants and lenders.
- A time manager. You have the ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Team oriented. You enjoy a collaborative work environment and working alongside colleagues across departments to reach a common goal.
- Self-sustaining. You are resourceful, innovative, and proactive with the ability to think independently and don't require much supervision or direction.
- Driven. You are a results-driven achiever with excellent organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business.
- Previous experience in property management accounting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
