    Description

    LHH has partnered with a Seattle-based real estate investment organization in the search for a Senior Property Accountant. This role offers significant opportunities for growth and advancement within a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization.

    Employment Type: Direct Hire

    Location & Worksite:

    • Seattle, WA
    • Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage financial statement preparation, general ledger reconciliations, cash management, invoicing, and tenant financial reporting for assigned properties.
    • Prepare journal entries, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze trial balance fluctuations.
    • Engage in budgeting and forecasting processes and provide input on quarterly and annual reports.
    • Handle special ad hoc projects as needed to support financial operations.
    • Assist in quarter and yearly reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Serve as a proactive member of the finance team, contributing to team meetings and supporting collaborative efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
    • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (required)
    • Experience in the real estate industry including knowledge of real estate legal documents, such as leases, property management agreements, CAM reconciliations, and purchase and sale agreements (required)
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    • A natural collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented and high-energy environment
    • Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel

    Salary, Benefits, & Perks:

    • Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 DOE +10% bonus
