    Title: Senior Property Accountant

    Compensation: $80,0000 - $105,000 in salary + bonus

    Location: Seattle, WA

    Company Overview:

    We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Property Accountant to join a growing residential and commercial real estate organization who is eager to make a positive impact within both the company and team Offering work/life balance, and opportunities to grow within their career. This role will lead the general ledger account reconciliation, month-end close, and assist with specialist projects as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform financial accounting tasks, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
    • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
    • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Perform cash flow analysis to monitor and manage the company's liquidity position.
    • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues and propose solutions.
    • Prepare regulatory reports in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Prepare distributions to real estate investors.

    Education and Qualification Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
    • Proven experience in financial accounting, auditing, and analysis.
    • Property management experience desired but not required.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    Compensation package

    • $80,0000 - $105,000 in salary + bonus
