**Job Title:** Ammonia Refrigeration Service Manager
Shambaugh & Son L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a construction/engineering firm. We specialize in the Design-Build method of construction resulting in fast-track delivery of the project improvements to our clients as well as traditional plan and spec projects. We are one of the largest specialty contractors in the U.S. and the only one with all eight M.E.P. (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Automation, Refrigeration, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) design and installation capabilities in-house. We perform nearly $840 million of construction projects per year with over 2,600 employees throughout 50 states from our home office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

**Job Summary:** The Ammonia Refrigeration Service Manager plays a critical role in maintaining our reputation and capabilities in the refrigeration industry. The position will be responsible for all emergency service calls, preventative maintenance and construction support for existing and development of new customer accounts.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
Provide high level of knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
Support customers with financially driven and performance-based solutions.
Provide technical support for service personnel and customers.
Promptly respond to customers emails and phone calls.
Manages daily operation of service department.
Identifies potential opportunities with existing and new customers.
Develops and maintains relationships within the customers organization which may include the facility manager, project managers, or purchasing agent.
Maintain safety standards on job sites as part of the S&S safety management team.
Support project managers and engineers.
Daily monitoring of ongoing and completed service jobs
Ability to quote service related work
Oversee and expand PM program
Maintain technical training for personnel
Other duties assigned
**Qualifications:**
Technical degree 2 years minimum or equivalent
10+ years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration
RETA CIRO certification strongly recommended
Highly competent with Ammonia Refrigeration systems and its components (both mechanical and electrical)
Experience in dealing with the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union
Experience with controls and electrical systems (high and low voltage)
Strong work ethic and commitment to our customers
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Must be highly organized and possess good time management abilities to prioritize workload
Display a professional, positive and respectful attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and vendors
Knowledge of Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office products.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Travel is required to visit job sites, create customer relationships, and oversee personnel
Work hours will typically be 8-10 hours per day with around the clock phone availability for emergencies
Valid drivers license is required
