S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking a full-time Logistics & Production Planning Coordinator for our Panama City, Florida location.

    Primary Duties
    • Coordinate and schedule shipments of pipe through various modes of transportation.
    • Negotiate transportation costs (trucks) with various motor carriers and communicates information with manager.
    • Coordinate and communicate with various departments and customers on shipping schedules and orders.
    • Prepare and provide documentation and instructions for mill personnel concerning pipe loading; and prepare and provide documentation for billing with truck companies.
    • Process, distribute, and maintain all freight invoices ensuring totals are accurate.
    • Audit all transportation related invoices.
    • Process and maintain files, including shipping reports, bills of lading, load tallies, rail releases, patterns, truck logs, and customs documentation.
    • Work directly with manager and/or Director on data needed for providing our cargo insurance carrier for some orders and provide other support when needed.
    • Communicate directly with customers and coordinate shipments (with or without manager) to ensure customer's delivery requirements are met.
    • Track/Trace shipments (with or without manager) to destination and raw materials to the pipe mills in order to provide updates for planning of various activities (unloading/loading of materials upon receipt).
    • May prepare reports for manager's review, enter prices in the QPP after approval and distribute to Sales.
    • Contact and schedule motor carriers to arrange pick-up times.
    • Provide assistance and direction for sub-contractors working under the direction of Borusan Berg Pipe for activities regarding offloading of pipes when required.
    Knowledge Required
    • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
    • Knowledge of raw materials, productions processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
    • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
    • Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office. (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Education & Work Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Three months related work experience in administrative environment reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description.
    • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, PowerPoint), SAP & i5. (Preferred)
    • Experience working with railroads and trucking companies. (Preferred)
