    Summary: The Assistant Press Operator supports the Press Operator and Lead Press Operator in the fundamental setup and maintenance of presses, ensuring the correct paper sizes and types are utilized. Additionally, they are responsible for guaranteeing that all presses are adequately stocked with the necessary paper and consumables.

    Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business requirements. The primary schedule typically runs from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, or similar timings. This role requires on-site presence.

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Inspecting paper sheet sizes/types and confirming needed materials
    • Aiding in the setup for upcoming printing jobs
    • Assisting with press maintenance and cleaning tasks
    • Supporting the Lead Press Operator as instructed to maintain press operations
    • Actively handling waste items for recycling
    • Completing and managing all essential documentation and records
    • Maintaining a safe and hazard-free work station with functional equipment
    • Immediately reporting any workplace hazards to management
    • Using provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary
    • Promptly reporting work-related injuries, illnesses, or incidents to management
    • Keeping work areas compliant with housekeeping guidelines
    • Adhering to safety protocols, regulations, and maintaining a secure work environment
    • Participating in departmental and company meetings
    • Performing general housekeeping tasks in work areas regularly
    • Completing other assigned duties

    Qualifications:

    • 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
    • 1 year of experience as a Sheet Fed Press Operator (Komori preferred)

    Preferred:

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
