LOWER SCHOOL DIRECTRESS, ALEXANDER MONTESSORI, MIAMI, FL — 2018– PRESENT
Reports to Director and owner of the school, leads instruction of blended classroom, supervises assistants, and advises/reports/documents students progress. Submits budget and conducts inventory, readies/audits for inspections, develops and executes technological initiatives. Currently serves as a lead teacher in lower school (grades 1st-3rd) in a team teaching setting with a personal focus on math and science. Leads and implements Spanish immersion in the classroom, while acting as the model to other classrooms. Created 200+ “montessori style” interactive virtual lessons. Ran a successful “virtual only” class and ran an effective hybrid learning model. Collaborated with the Curriculum Department to update the science curriculum as well as create virtual science lessons.
