    Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is hiring an Account Support Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing servicing assistance to Government and Union Services customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handles systems processes (customer file, follow-up, database, records, documentation, etc.) in response to reports (open/closed) and Treasury Management (TM) support implementation requests.
    • Completes TM forms for commercial banking, forwards to clients for signature and sends to TM operations (notifies account officer if documentation is not returned and consults with TM operations to ensure timely response to requests).
    • Responds to customer inquiries and coordinates with other departments as needed.
    • Retrieves and prepares balance information on a daily basis for customers as needed.
    • Coordinates with account officers and various Trust departments to ensure appropriate funding is achieved for daily and initiates transactions as needed.
    • Open new accounts.
    • Compiles statistics, assembles invoice preparation and generates reports.
    • Prepares wire transfers for approval and submission to Wire Department.
    • Processes daily customer transfer other than sweeps.
    • Completes special projects as required.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
    • Bachelor's degree in business or finance (preferred)
    • Five years of business and banking experience which demonstrates knowledge of banking practices and procedures, high level administrative support, sales, solution oriented, and critical thinking practices. (required)
