    Description

    DataStaff is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in the Raleigh, NC area.

    *This position is hybrid

    *Some local travel may be required

    Responsibilities:

    • Improve the applications into user-friendly products for our clients
    • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
    • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
    • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
    • Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
    • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
    • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
    • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
    • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
    • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
    • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

    Required Skills:

    • 7 Years - Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
    • 7 Years - Proven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web based applications
    • 5 Years - Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. and InVision)
    • 5 Years - Up-to-date knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
    • 7 Years - Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.
    • 7 Years - Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.

    Desired Skills:

    • 7 Years - Business knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements.
    • 5 Years - Experience designing applications using the social services products
    • 4 Years - Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI
    • 3 Years - Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development
    • 2 Years - Experience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others.
    • 2 Years - Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing

    This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
