    Kadro is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our Creative Services team. Candidates will be involved in building customer experience journeys for eCommerce sites, from research to conception. Candidates will be involved in multiple projects and work with end users, Software Engineers, Business Solutions Analysts, the Sales team, Project Managers, and other support staff. All staff are onshore. This is a remote position. You must reside in CO, FL, NC, NJ, OH, SC, or TN.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the UX/UI process and workflow for web and mobile
    • User research, usability testing, user interviews, presenting findings to stakeholders
    • Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to inform design decisions, analyzing core metrics to optimize customer engagement
    • Design user-centered online workflows from efficient browsing to a streamlined checkout process for online and mobile use.
    • Collaborate with end-user eCommerce, marketing, product, creative, and development teams to define project goals, requirements, and scope
    • Create information architecture, wireframes, and mockups for eCommerce websites
    • Build style guides, slide decks, and presentations for client progress updates

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with web design processes, deliverables, and industry best practices including a deep understanding of typography, layout design, and visual hierarchy
    • Portfolio demonstrating ability in UX/UI, branding, layout, and design aesthetics, including slide decks and presentations that elaborate on design decisions.
    • Proficiency in using components, auto-layout, responsive design, and building styles in a design system
    • Strong ad hoc problem-solving skills that emphasize efficiency
    • Ability to self-manage, and juggle multiple tasks and projects, with strong attention to detail and efficient ad hoc problem-solving skills.
    • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design and web design optimizing online shopping experiences, including direct client interactions and slide-deck presentations

    Tools & Software:

    • Must have experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud applications (XD, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
    • Nice to have experience using User Zoom, HotJar, G4, and other user testing/user analytics software
    • All task management will be done in Jira.
