- Provides engineering support for PPC and specifies proper requirements for parts as required by the Sulzer QA manual
- Creates and updates BOM's related to design changes and updates engineering data in computer system to reflect these changes; assigns all new part numbers and structures raw material to manufacture the part
- Takes out article numbers and creates material masters (part numbers) for pump components (Sulzer and non-Sulzer) in Sulzer's ERP system
- Provides liaison between manufacturing and support groups as required
- Participates in Material Review Board (MRB)
- Performs special assignments as directed by department manager
- Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and QEHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort
- Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates degree In engineering or closely related field is preferred
- Three years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably with engineered to order products required
- Experience with ERP systems, preferable SAP
- Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
