Position Profile:

Data & IT Support Analyst will provide day-to-day technology needs for Milestone Recovery Staff and volunteers, and assist with data collection and review.

This position will be based at our 65 India St location Portland, Maine, with reimbursed milage to our 10 Andover Rd, Portland and our 28 Portland Ave, Old Orchard Beach.


Compensation:

  • Compensation for this position ranges from $ per hour based on experience.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position (24 hours a week).


Qualifications:


  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, IT, or related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a technical support (preferred)
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, Xerox, and network fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Microsoft office), with an understanding of excel and macros
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new challenges.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the organizational structure of Milestone and the program and work within the policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide answers by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding end users through corrective steps and educating to reduce reoccurring issues.
  • Monitoring the ticket system to prioritize and execute tasks in demanding situations while responding positively and accurately to a variety of requests.
  • Provide technical support to endusers by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, answering inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Providing training to endusers as needed.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and availability of our systems.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and documentation of IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
  • Monitor security breaches and respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and support activities as required.
  • Assist in gathering and maintaining data related to grants and other reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical demands and work environment:
Freedom of movement on a regular basis. Operating basic office equipment in a normal office environment. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

May spend extended periods operating a desktop computer, requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity; physical activity requires walking, bending, standing and lifting.
