    Channel Account Manager - Bay Area

    About the Job:

    If you are a driven individual with a passion for networking and security sectors, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Channel Account Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing the Company's status as a global leader in Unified Threat Management within the VAR community in the region. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and meeting company targets, managing reseller partnerships effectively, and fostering new business relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage key Fortinet partners and end users in the region
    • Create business plans with partners to boost revenue
    • Deliver ongoing sales and technical training to partners
    • Develop marketing strategies to increase sales
    • Collaborate with regional sales managers as a channel strategist
    • Work closely with marketing and engineering teams for revenue growth
    • Provide channel coverage for the region
    • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets

    Required Skills:

    • 5+ years experience in channel sales and territory management
    • Proven track record in building business and marketing plans
    • Expertise in delivering sales training in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
    • Competitive and self-driven mentality
    • Preferably a college or university degree
    • Willingness to travel and engage in sales activities

    As a Channel Account Manager at Fortinet, you will enjoy a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more. The expected annual earnings for this role range from $180,000 to $245,000. Final compensation will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, and location. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in the Fortinet equity program and receive commissions as per the Sales Compensation Plan.
