This professional will be the champion for employee engagement, employee relations, change management, full cycle talent acquisition and compliance.The Human Resource Generalist role requires the candidate to have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills as well as HR or recruiting experience; should possess working knowledge of HR functions and procedures, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and federal, state and local laws, such as HIPAA and COBRA.
Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide functional/operational human resources guidance through planning, organizing and controlling HR activitiesServe as functional resource for employees, ensuring their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policiesWill work closely with executive leadership to make sure all HR processes are implemented smoothly and will be the primary interface between the Strategic Focus and client partnersKeep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriateProvide insightful HR consultation to location leaders and employees; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continual improvementManage recruitment effort for all exempt, non-exempt, and hourly employees; monitor recruitment programPlan, direct and oversee the performance management processManage and maintain HR records and reports Perform basic office management duties Key SkillsKnowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as complianceHighly autonomous, self-directed, organized and detail-orientedExperience hiring and onboarding employeesExperience creating or managing policies that shape positive, appropriate employee behaviorDemonstrated ability to lead complex projects from inception through completionStrong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and managementMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degreeDegree in business, human resources, or equivalent mix of experience and education preferred2 to 5 years of experience in HR roles of progressively increasing responsibilityHR certifications, HRCI (SPHR/PHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP/SCP) preferredEstimated Work Schedule:
Full-Time 30 Hours per week (Hourly - Non Exempt)Monday - FridayBetween Hours 9a - 4pm (Scheduled will be confirmed before Hire)Benefits:

Flexible Work Environment:
The schedule may have one or more flexible work days where support can be provided remotely. There will be at minimum 3-4 Days per week in which in office support is required.
