    Position: Accountant

    Pay: $50,000 - $60,000

    We are looking for an Accountant for one of Hawaii's most effective non-profit animal protection organizations.

    Benefits:

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities and support of the Finance department and the administration of the City Neuter Now, and Free Roaming Cats programs
    • Provide support to Assistant Controller to include vendor updates, recurring month-end journal entries and other schedules upon request
    • Process and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables

    Qualifications:

    • Equipment Use: Working knowledge of Office 365 suite; MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint helpful
    • Must be able to lift and carry 10 lbs.
    • Education/Training: Associate degree in accounting required
    • Skills/Knowledge: Requires an understanding of general ledger structure
