- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Learning & Development solutions design, implementation, and overall project management
- Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in employee development, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years advanced application of adult learning theory in program design
- Expert facilitator of leadership development programs (Certification preferred)
- Strong background of designing and implementing complex employee development programs (i.e. emerging leaders program, career path programs, new supervisors, etc.)
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Cornerstone on Demand, and virtual conference tools (MS Teams, or other)
- Must be able to travel
- Comprehensive knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, training methodologies, and assessment techniques.
- Ability to conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning requirements within the organization.
- Proficiency in designing and developing effective training programs and learning curricula tailored to meet organizational objectives and employee needs.
- Skill in creating engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, simulations, and other instructional resources.
- Strong facilitation skills to lead training sessions, workshops, and discussions effectively, fostering active participation and knowledge retention among learners.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other educational technologies to deliver, manage, and track training initiatives efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders, including department heads, HR personnel, subject matter experts, and external training vendors.
- Proficiency in evaluating training effectiveness through various assessment methods, such as surveys, quizzes, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative learning practices to continuously improve training programs and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze training data and metrics to measure the impact of learning interventions on employee performance, productivity, and organizational goals.

Job Description:
The Learning & Development Manager will create and execute people development programs and solutions across the organization. Key areas of focus include leadership skills, people manager capabilities, career progression pathways, and enterprise development tools for teams across the organization. This is a highly-visible role, providing trusted partnership for people development solutions across the business. Success in this role will come from strong business acumen, expert training and train-the-trainer skills, the ability to match solutions to people and business needs and being a consulting partner to leaders.
