    Description
    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team.

    As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.

    This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Prepare treatment rooms for patients by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available

    • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
    • Take dental radiographs (xrays) as directed by the dentist
    • Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans
    • Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
    • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assisting, instrument passing, and fourhanded dentistry
    • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
    • Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Experience with medical imaging techniques, such as digital radiography or CAD/CAM systems
    • Understanding of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
    completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

    • Current certification in dental radiography (Xray certification)
