'''Duties''' - Perform patient assessment and charting during dental examinations - Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with the dental team and patients - Manage electronic health records using systems like Epic - Take and develop dental X-rays - Assist in medical coding for dental procedures - Operate computer-aided design (CAD) systems for dental restorations - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality - Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures - Maintain infection control protocols in the dental office '''Requirements''' - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role - Proficiency in patient assessment and charting - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding - Familiarity with X-Ray procedures and equipment - Experience with CAD systems for dental restorations is a plus - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance - Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
