- Provide personnel management to include the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of core staff, interns and volunteers. Maintain oversight of staff productivity and service delivery, including maintaining appropriate documentation of services delivered.
- Supervise the design and facilitation of specialized workshops for adoptive parents, HHSA social workers, and other professional and providers designated by the County.
- Monitor program progress achieving Statement of Work goals and objectives.
- Provide necessary timely reports and statistics/information to funding sources as required
- Participate in planning and management of appropriate agency-wide meetings, staff development events, and committees.
- Monitor budgets and comply with fiscal policies and procedures.
- Perform other Duties as assigned or required.
- Master's degree from an accredited graduate school in social work, marriage, family, child counseling, child psychology or related field of family counseling, child psychology or related field.
- Three years experience in the field of family or child welfare services, or two years experience in a licensed foster family or adoption agency.
- Experience in staff supervision, training, and management.
- Must possess or be willing to develop a working knowledge of trauma-informed care and the treatment of dual diagnosis.
- Must have a reliable vehicle, relevant auto insurance, a clean driving record, and be willing to drive throughout San Diego County (mileage reimbursement provided). Knowledge of resources in San Diego County.
- Must be able to work and represent a culturally and ethnically diverse community. Must possess excellent oral and written skills and be able to work well autonomously and with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, meet multiple and competing deadlines.
- Cooperate and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, and positively contribute to the culture of the program and agency.
- Maintain certification in CPR & First Aid.
- Willing to complete clearance procedures, including, TB, fingerprinting, background check, driving record and drug test; final offer of hire pending on results of clearances.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings as assigned by supervisor and/or as needed.
- Adhere to and uphold the rigorous standards of SDYS as mandated by its mission, purpose, guiding principles and standards of quality.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards of service partner protected health information and other applicable information and material in accordance to agency and center policies, and applicable regulations and laws including HIPAA.

Program Manager
San Diego Youth Services seeks a Program Manager in our Adoptions program. This is a full-time & exempt position reporting to the Director of Services.
CONTEXT OF THE POSITION
The Program Manager is responsible for managing the provision of comprehensive quality trauma-informed adoption support services. Adoption support services program provides services in the home, at SDYS office locations and in the community throughout the county of San Diego. The Program Manager is responsible for program development and implementation, budget monitoring, overall daily functioning and quality control of services including and not limited to monitoring intake assessment and service plans, supervision of adoptions program staff, general service review, contract data collection, compliance reporting and overall supervision of the contracted components.
