    Our well-established manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their growing team This is a full-time, first shift role near the Albany, NY, area.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience managing quality control in a manufacturing setting.

    Responsibilities of the Quality Manager will include:
    Maintain and enhance quality system, including ISO certificationSupervise quality system, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture focused on qualityCoordinate and conduct regular and through quality audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality standards are being metImplement lean and continuous improvement principles within the quality processCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issuesAnalyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and root causes of defectsConduct and revise risk assessmentsImplement risk management strategies to proactively identify and mitigate quality risksLead corrective and preventative action initiatives to address issues and improve overall product qualityStay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations to update best practices and improve overall quality management systemAdditional responsibilities as assignedJob RequirementsDetails:
    Qualifications for the role of

    Quality Manager: 3+ years' quality management experience in a manufacturing settingExperience with ISO and/or AS9100 quality systemsBachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, operations, or a related fieldA quality certification such as CQA, CQE, CMQ, or CSSBB is preferred, but not requiredWorking knowledge of quality systems, including ISO certification, control plan development, design and process FMEA creation, and KPI managementUnderstanding of demand planning, materials management, and quality assurance systems within a production environment.

    Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies as applied to manufacturing, such as value stream mappingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and a drive for successAbility to use project management tools and Microsoft Office applications to track progress and manage resourcesAble to regularly lift or move 10-50 lbs; able to occasionally lift or move 100+ lbsPay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
