charge points as well as car manufacturers, energy suppliers and lease companies.
In 2022 alone, they grew over 80% and entered several international markets, and as the shift to
Electrification quickly gains momentum; they continue to scale up in the US and overseas.
We are looking for a talented Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding team to support their growing customer base in the US.
The Role
You will work closely with our clients customers, during both the initial sales process and for ongoing professional services projects.
You will clearly define the scope of each engagement, for a smooth transition from the sales team to the delivery team.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn by also onboarding and offering technical support to customers during the scale up phase in the US.
You will alsoConfidently engage with customers to understand their requirements
Set up and deliver bespoke demonstrations of our clients intuitive software platform
Design and document required system integrations
Respond to customer RFPs
Identify gaps between customer requirements and current product functionality, whilst working with customers to agree how these will be handled
Work with the product team to understand the cost and timescale of system enhancements, before committing any change to the customer
Your profile, Experience & Qualifications
Ideally based in Austin, TX
At least 2 years' experience in a customer-facing technical role
Clear and confident when communicating to stakeholders at all levels
Experience in responding to technology RFPs
Able to understand and capture business requirements
Tenacity and the ability to solve problems
A self-starter mindset; equally able to work independently and to collaborate as part of a team
The ability to draw a system integration diagram
Knowledge of software development processes
Able to attend up to 1 month of training in the UK on joining and to travel within the US to customer workshops
