About the Role: As our Commercial Moving Company expands its reach in NYC (all 5 boroughs), we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This is a strategic role where you'll play a pivotal role in acquiring new commercial clients, forging lasting relationships, and driving significant revenue growth.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives, leveraging data-driven insights and market trends.
Prospect and qualify new leads, fostering relationships, and converting them into loyal clients.
Provide expert consultations and personalized solutions to understand and exceed client needs.
Negotiate and close deals, delivering exceptional value propositions and securing profitable contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, and operations) to optimize sales strategies and refine marketing materials.
Actively participate in industry trade shows and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Cultivate existing customer relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities for recurring revenue.
Analyze industry trends and proactively identify potential markets for exponential growth.
Prepare insightful weekly reports.
Regularly communicate with the Sales Manager/General Manager on existing accounts, pipeline updates, and growth potential.
Participate in monthly meetings to discuss customer-client storage cycle billing and strategize revenue optimization.
What You Bring:
3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the commercial moving industry or a related field.
A track record of success in exceeding sales targets and exceeding client expectations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
Proficiency in CRM software and comfortable utilizing various sales tools and technologies.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks strategically.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
A genuine passion for the commercial moving industry and a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit.
