    Description

    CLEARANCE:

    Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to apply Torin Consulting is seeking a junior to mid-level resource officer to support a fast-paced Sponsor office focused on mission-critical, high-impact work.

    Resource Officer will prepare financial statements and tax reports, prepare memos for senior management, and advise on financial related questions based on knowledge of internal financial regulations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review and validate financial information provided through customer reports.
    • Advise on financial related issues based on knowledge of internal financial regulations.
    • Produce accurate financial statements.
    • Create financial reports.
    • Draft memos for internal groups and senior management.
    • Ability to work both independently and with a team.

    WORK LOCATION:
    Mclean and Chantilly


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related fields required with a minimum of three years in accounting, budget and resource management, and/or bookkeeping.
    • Familiarity with preparing financial statements in accounting software.
